Artist Bio: Suzanne has a BFA in art from UW-Madison and has worked as a professional artist in many different areas including graphic design, theatre prop and scenic design, mural painting, illustration, painting and sculpting. She has been working as a full time studio artist for the last six years under her business, Green Chicks Studio. Her primary focus is recycled sculpture and dimensional wall art which is sold on commission and at professional art fairs throughout the Midwest.

Her family first moved to Monroe in 1999; figuring it would be a stepping stone until deciding where to settle. Their house is only three blocks from the square. Suzanne writes, "we found Monroe always has something going on – especially family friendly events easily within walking distance. Plenty to keep us entertained and we liked the small town atmosphere. Eventually, I opened my art studio on the upstairs level of a downtown building. I loved watching all the happenings and being a part of the local business community. I still most love walking downtown on Saturday mornings, going to yoga class then wandering the farmer’s market."
